WebPretty much the reason Surly discontinued the ecr as the ecr and ogre are very much the same bike. That and from what I’ve read and watched the bike industry is moving away from 29+ tire sizing (2.6-3.9”) and tire options in this size are more and more difficult to find these days. Edit: ogre front fork can take a 203mm rotor like the ecr.
